Armstrong Motor Group expands further into Auckland Market
These are very exciting times for the locally-owned Armstrong Motor Group as it sees further expansion into the Auckland market following the high profile acquisition of the Auckland City Toyota dealerships in 2014.
Earlier this year, it expanded the Mt Wellington site by taking over the neighboring property to double the used vehicle display. Now, Auckland City Toyota operation will add a third dealership to the existing Mt Wellington and Grey Lynn operations, situated in the heart of Auckland’s ‘motoring mile’, Greenlane, at 231-237 Great South Road.
“We have secured prime automotive retail space in Greenlane, ideal for the rapidly growing Auckland City Toyota business. They are currently occupied by Continental Car Services, and we take over the properties from 1st October 2015. During October we will be opening the new Toyota dealership. Toyota New Zealand have approved the new site and have been very supportive. It is great to extend our Toyota network.” Confirmed Armstrong
Founded 22 years ago by owner and CEO, Rick Armstrong, Armstrong Motor Group has been best known for its established network of Lower North Island and South Island car dealerships, including Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Jeep, Peugeot and Subaru franchises among others and Mercedes Benz NZ’s Dealer of the Year for four consecutive years.
Rick has a clear growth strategy based in the main centres and the group is now realising these aspirations, quickly establishing the Armstrong Motor Group as a national brand in its own right.
